I see the reflection of the me I want to be...
the promise of love, everlasting...
the life that could be.
In your eyes...
I see compassion and trust...
the sorrow of uncertainty...
the desire and lust.
In your eyes...
I see the light of hope...
the fear of rejection...
the words you never spoke.
In your eyes...
I see the unconditional love...
looking back at me...
and in your eyes I just see me.
